Pakize should be at least 8 or 9 years old. I am not sure because she lived up on the hill, near the first block of this street before. She gave birth to so many kittens, so many times. Finally people over there decided to put a stop into this; she was neutralized in Beşiktaş Municipality. After what they did to her she decided to move here. She probably did not feel safe over there or maybe they were not feeding her well over there.
Gri is a male cat. We believe that he was left behind when his family moved from here because he never wanted to leave that building, he kept trying to get inside the building. One of the supporters of Minikgüneşparçam started to take him to her home at night and on cold days.
Keşkül and Pırtık have a home but they don’t want to go back there. That neighbor who gives a home to them does this for plenty of other cats. Last year when she took Cimcime and Cimceme’s kittens home other cats in the apartment rejected this new situation. They did not like kittens at all. So since then several cats from that apartment started to live here. They were always coming here before but now for example Keşkül never goes back.
Yeni Garfield is not only Garfield because we had the most wonderful Garfield here; no other cat can be like him. Yeni means new. So probably I will find another name for him if he stays around. It’s been couple months since I started to see him here. These last weeks something happened to him, he was a courageous cat. Now he is running away from all of them; even the female cats beat him sometimes.
